The Avengers' Glue

Some actors get lucky. They were born with talent and charisma. The camera loves them and in turn, they become big stars. Sadly, not everyone has those qualities. Clark Gregg has talent and some charisma, but it is doubtful he'll become a huge star. Most likely he will have s solid career with a few notable break out performances, sort of like Richard Jenkins.

Unlike the aforementioned and remarkable actor (Richard Jenkins), Mr. Gregg has been lucky in another sense. He has landed the role of that SHIELD agent in all, well almost all, of the Marvel Comics stories turned to film. Read more »

NASA Scrubs UFOs

Watching NASA make space travel boring has become a standard. Their pursuit of this goal has made something that is quite exciting as boring as watching paint dry. I suppose that's what happens when engineer/geeks run things. Even when something unusual happens, the dead pan delivery and 'just the facts, ma'am' style makes one wonder if NASA is composed of 'pod people' who have no feelings.
