300 SEQUEL MOVED

The sequel 300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE has been moved by its distributor.
Originally slated to premiere in August. The new date is March 7, 2014. The original 300 premiered in that same calendar location.

Sf38 Awards Announced

Wow, was this difficult! There were so many great films. Too bad we couldn't give all the deserving films something. As it was we expanded the Honorable Mention category.

Here's how we figured things out. Each film earned a score. The number was determined by popular vote, the submitting judge's evaluation and the final judge's decision.

We know that some of the shorts voting was 'stacked' and that was taken into account.

Like I said, this was extremely difficult. The margin between some of the films was razor thin. Read more »

Storm Update!

(Sunday morning 2/17 @ 7:45 am) The City of Somerville has imposed a snow emergency parking ban throughout the city.

This means you can only park on odd numbered sides of the streets until further notice.

We highly recommend parking at the Alewife T station & taking the Red Line into Davis Sq. (first stop)

We will try and let people into the theater as soon as possible.
